Men's Benzodiazepine Addiction Treatment Program
Straightforward, medically supervised benzodiazepine treatment for men who have been putting off getting help.
Available 24/7 · 100% confidential
Why Men Often Delay Treatment
Many men wait years to seek help. Common reasons include pressure to handle things alone, worry about how it will look at work or at home, and the belief that a prescribed medication cannot be a problem.
Anxiety is also frequently under-recognized in men, who may describe stress, irritability, or poor sleep rather than anxiety. Benzodiazepines can then become the quiet fix, and dependence builds without anyone calling it a problem.
The result is that men often arrive at treatment later, at higher doses, or after a scare such as a failed attempt to stop, a fall, a car accident, or a seizure. Earlier help is safer and easier.

What the Program Includes
The approach is direct and medical, with the therapy and support to make the change last.

A continuing-care plan for therapy, medication follow-up, and support after you leave.
Insurance and Cost
iRely Recovery works with most major PPO plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and Humana, usually on an out-of-network basis. What you pay depends on your plan, your benefits, and the level of care you need.
We verify benefits for free, typically in about five to ten minutes, and explain what your plan is expected to cover before you decide anything. You can also start with our insurance verification page.

Men's Benzodiazepine Treatment Questions
Straight answers to the questions people ask most.
How do I know if I need treatment for benzodiazepines?
Signs include needing more for the same effect, running out early, craving the drug, withdrawal between doses, or failed attempts to cut down. An assessment can sort it out.
Will treatment affect my job?
Your information is protected by federal privacy rules and shared only with your written consent unless the law requires otherwise. We can discuss timing and documentation during intake.
Can I just taper on my own?
Stopping abruptly is not safe, and tapering alone often stalls when anxiety spikes. Supervised care is recommended for high doses, long-term use, or use with alcohol or opioids.
Do you treat anxiety and stress as well?
Yes. Anxiety, depression, trauma, and sleep problems are treated together with the taper.
What if I also drink?
Combined alcohol and benzodiazepine use raises withdrawal risk and needs supervised detox. See our benzo and alcohol withdrawal page.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on your dose, history, and needs. An assessment sets the level of care, and treatment continues beyond the taper through therapy and aftercare.
Is the program men-only?
The program is individualized for each client. Call us and we will explain how the household and groups are structured.
Does insurance cover men's benzodiazepine treatment at iRely?
Most PPO plans are accepted, usually out of network. Call 818-262-3537 and we will verify your benefits for free, typically in about five to ten minutes.
