About iRely Recovery

AS SEEN ON
WHO WE ARE

Our Story

iRely Recovery was founded by respected industry professionals with decades of combined experience and a personal encounter with addiction. Driven by a strong desire to see real people achieve real results and experience genuine healing, they eliminated all the toxicity and apathy from the typical treatment process and designed something entirely different.

The clinical model at iRely is built on a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and CT-R (Cognitive Therapy for Recovery) paired with trauma-informed approaches including EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. Every treatment plan is developed using ASAM placement criteria and designed for dual diagnosis clients, because most people entering treatment are also carrying untreated anxiety, depression, trauma, or other co-occurring conditions that must be addressed alongside the addiction.

Today, iRely Recovery is a Detox, Residential Treatment, and Alumni Community treatment center that embodies the core principles of the “i” movement, championing personal autonomy and unique treatment experiences. We’re dedicated to walking our community through practical and effective recovery strategies and access to vital resources.

A Team You Can Rely On

Our team of leaders and providers has firsthand, real-life experience with addiction and the dark challenges one can face. Each one is equipped with vetted expertise, a compassion for those struggling with substance or alcohol use, and a drive to bring practical hope where there is hopeless despair.

WHAT WE DO

Our Mission

Our mission is to advance personal empowerment in the treatment process and to help others embrace transformative change. By reducing stigma, relapse, overdose, disability, and fatalities and promoting education, support, evidence-based treatment, and accountability, we offer a reliable, real-life solution to alcohol, co-occurring, and substance use disorders. Our strength-based environment provides a supportive space for clients who are willing and invested in their recovery to thrive. Every program at iRely, from medically supervised detox through residential care and aftercare, is designed around ASAM Level of Care guidelines and delivered by a licensed, credentialed clinical team.

WHERE WE OPERATE

Our Facility

iRely Recovery operates across two residential homes in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood of Los Angeles, a small-cohort setting that enables close staff-to-client ratios, 24/7 nursing oversight during medical detox, and the individualized therapeutic attention that larger facilities cannot provide. The residential environment is structured to support clinical outcomes: daily individual therapy, group sessions, skills practice, and a calm, low-stimulation space that removes the environmental triggers of daily life. Both shared and private rooms are available at Greenwood Manor and Willow View, located at 17524 and 17526 Napa St, Sherwood Forest, CA 91325.

HOW WE DO IT

Our Approach To Recovery

We want to honor and respect the lived experiences and personal stories of our community and help each individual address systemic concerns, not just addiction. Our approach to recovery looks like:

  • Evidence-based therapies: CBT, DBT, CT-R, ACT, EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing matched to each client’s clinical profile
  • ASAM 3.5-level residential care with individualized treatment planning from day one
  • Dual diagnosis treatment — co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders addressed concurrently, not sequentially
  • Trauma-informed care integrated across all clinical services, including group and individual therapy
  • Small cohort model maintaining high staff-to-client ratios for focused, personalized treatment
  • Family therapy and systemic support woven into treatment alongside individual sessions
  • Aftercare and alumni programming to support sustained recovery beyond discharge
  • Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) framework guiding every phase of the treatment continuum

Everything we do here is to build a better, healthier, more fulfilling life that inspires. iRely Recovery is a lifeline and is proud to be one of the industry’s most respected and reliable recovery resources.

The first step toward healing and recovery is reaching out for help. iRely Recovery is proudly one of the addiction industry’s most reliable resources, offering practical support, effective strategies, and personalized care. We can help.

iRely Recovery holds the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval — the gold standard of behavioral health accreditation. iRely is LegitScript Certified, Psychology Today Verified, and licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS License #191516AP, expires 9/30/2027). These credentials represent a commitment to safety, clinical quality, and accountability that goes beyond industry minimums.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. iRely Recovery holds the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval, which is the highest recognized standard of quality and safety in behavioral health. We are also licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS License #191516AP) and certified by LegitScript, which verifies that we operate as a legitimate addiction treatment provider.

iRely provides ASAM Level 3.5 Clinically Managed High-Intensity Residential Treatment, as well as medically supervised detox. This level of care is appropriate for adults with moderate to severe substance use disorders who require 24-hour therapeutic structure and, in the case of detox, medical monitoring during withdrawal.

Our clinical program uses a combination of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), CT-R (Cognitive Therapy for Recovery), EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Experiencing, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC). Therapies are selected and combined based on each client’s individual assessment.

Yes. Dual diagnosis is a core specialty at iRely. Many people entering addiction treatment are also managing anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, or other co-occurring conditions. Our clinical team is trained to treat both simultaneously rather than addressing one before the other, which significantly improves long-term outcomes.

Yes. iRely Recovery accepts most major PPO insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, HealthNet, and UnitedHealthcare. We recommend calling our admissions team at (818) 262-3537 or using our online insurance verification tool to confirm your specific benefits before admission.

iRely operates across two residential homes, Greenwood Manor and Willow View, located at 17524 and 17526 Napa St, Sherwood Forest (Los Angeles), CA 91325. The Sherwood Forest neighborhood sits between Hollywood and Malibu, offering a quiet, residential recovery environment within Los Angeles County.

iRely intentionally operates as a boutique, small-cohort facility. The limited census allows for a high staff-to-client ratio, individualized clinical attention, and a more personal treatment experience than is possible at high-volume programs. Specific capacity can be confirmed by calling admissions.

Yes. Aftercare and alumni support are a formal part of the iRely continuum of care. Following residential treatment, clients can transition through step-down levels of care and remain connected to the iRely alumni community. Aftercare planning begins during residential treatment to ensure there is no gap in support at discharge.

The length of treatment depends on the individual’s clinical needs, ASAM assessment, and progress in the program. Medically supervised detox typically lasts 5–10 days. Residential treatment programs generally run 30 to 90 days. iRely does not use a fixed one-size-fits-all timeline; duration is determined by clinical assessment.

The first step is to call our admissions team at (818) 262-3537 or submit a contact form at irelyrecovery.com/contact-us. Our team will conduct a brief clinical assessment, verify your insurance benefits, and walk you through next steps. Admissions can often be arranged within 24–48 hours depending on availability.
