Rewriting Stories With Practical Empowerment

Our Leadership Team

Opening iRely Recovery was deeply personal for the founding members. These are leaders who have experienced firsthand the complex challenges, losses, and missed opportunities due to mental health, trauma, and substance use disorder that go untreated. On the other side of those experiences, we are passionate about helping others overcome those same challenges.

Gretchen 'GG' Garcia

Gretchen ‘GG’ Garcia’s love for cooking began at a young age, fostered in the heart of her mom’s always-busy kitchen.

Gretchen ‘GG’ Garcia’s love for cooking began at a young age, fostered in the heart of her mom’s always-busy kitchen. Growing up surrounded by the joy and comfort that good food provides, she honed her culinary skills early and developed a deep appreciation for the art of cooking. Like many, GG’s journey took an unexpected turn with personal struggles of addiction. Through dedication and a commitment to growth, she found a path to recovery and rediscovered the transformative power of food and community. Now, living clean and sober, Gretchen channels both her skills and empathy into creating nourishing, delicious meals for those on their journey of healing. Cooking in recovery allows Gretchen to express her creativity, nourish the body, and give back to the community that once provided her so much support. Her dedication goes beyond meal preparation; she embraces the therapeutic value of cooking as a way to promote well-being, foster connection, and restore stability and normalcy. Gretchen’s goal is to create a supportive environment where residents can experience the joy of good food and the healing power of shared meals.
